Louis C. Jones was the Lamar Lecturer at Wesleyan University in 1964. During his presentation at the university, he presented three lectures about folklife. In his first two lectures, "A Long Look Over My Left Shoulder" and "A Nosegay of Pretty Murder," Jones shares several folktales and describes their impact.
